# Amphibian protection

Spring – the signs for thousands of **amphibians** of all species, such as e.g. toads, frogs and newts to make their way towards their spawning waters. They always follow the same migration route from their hibernation sites, whereby the amphibians are faced with constantly increasing obstacles. The **expanded road network**, particularly country roads, frequently lead through **amphibian territory** and **endanger many species**.

Road construction in the vicinity of the amphibians' living space is often unavoidable. However, this should not be accompanied by a restriction or change in the migration behaviour of the amphibians.

Our **amphibian protection** has many **excellent properties** such as e.g. an **optimum price** **-** **performance ratio** by means of a **patented** “**modular system**”. This system can be used anywhere and is **assembled without joints**. Changes of direction are no problem and can be easily installed both horizontally and vertically from 10° to 90° by means of special angular metal plates.

Furthermore, there are diverse **connections** to install the **amphibian protection** in **tunnels**, **stop drains** and **bridge constructions**. This enables **comprehensive protection of the amphibians**. With regard to assembly, we have **qualified specialists**, who work in strict compliance with the specifications of the MAmS 2000 (German Information Sheet on Amphibian Protection on Roads).
